Best Producer + Best White Wine 2025

More than 12,000 wines are scrutinised by Mundus Vini every year. An expert jury consisting of oenologists, sommeliers, specialist retailers, trade journalists and scientists from 48 countries taste and evaluate the wines in a professional blind tasting. In the 2025 spring tasting, Roman’s anniversary vintage – he brought in his 20th harvest in 2024 – was put to the test. We are delighted that our wines performed so well that we were honoured as Mundus Vini ‘Best Producer in Austria’ for the sixth time in a row. The St. Laurent, Riesling, Muskateller and Chardonnay varieties particularly stood out this time.

In addition, one of our wines is at the top of the podium: Our PASSION Riesling Reserve 2024 was honoured as Best White Wine from Austria! With this wine, we utilise the wind of the Weinviertel. The Riesling grows on a hilltop and is kept dry by the wind. This prevents botrytis. We harvest very late, but absolutely healthy grapes. This results in an extremely exotic fruit bomb that nevertheless retains a fine freshness. Passion fruit and mango meet here, interspersed with a fine lime note and a salty minerality. A real discovery that will be available from April 2025!
