More than 4,100 wines from 48 countries were up for tasting at the Frankfurt International Trophy in April 2023. With 14 medals, our wines did better than ever before and won the Austrian classification for the third time in a row:

One of the rare Grand Gold Medals went to our BURG Zweigelt Reserve with its fully ripe cherry note and chocolatey body. By the way, the Reserve takes its name “Burg” (German for “Castle”) from the Kreuzenstein Castle, because the Zweigelt grows very close to the castle in our Leobendorf vineyards.
